ORDERING STARLINK

We cannot supply you with starlink equipment, we simply install the product once it arrives to you and also provide the associated brackets, poles and extra equipment that is needed to boost the wifi signal through your property. Please note if you want to have a cabled connection to your router or wish to expand the wifi throughout your house you will need to also purchase an ethernet adapter at checkout.
Once you place your order and are given a delivery date you can contact us and setup the installation date. We usually advise you to send through some images of your property and we can advise on where the equipment should be mounted, it also allows us to specify what equipment may be the best for your needs. We also offer a survey service if your house is non standard and may require extra equipment.
With a standard installation we can supply all mounting brackets and masts for your installation including labour costs for approx £280.
We can extend your Starlink internet to other rooms and throughout your property either using a Wi-Fi mesh system or a hardwired CAT6 cable poe system depending on your budget.
We advise with a hard wired system we would ideally need to carry out an on site survey.

Q. Is there a fair usage clause?
A. Currently the standard plan is unlimited but they do specify that if domestic customers use huge amounts of data they reserve the right to slow your connection at peak times.
Q. how do you mount the equipment to our property?
A. To mount the dishy unit we typically use one or two 12 x 12" heavy duty galvanised brackets depending on the location and the construction of the house, we also use galvanizing spray on all the metal fittings to serve as an extra layer of protection against the cornish elements.
Q. lead length
A. The supplied lead length is currently 15m or 50ft (please check your order!), if you require a longer lead you can purchase a cable that's 45m or 150 ft in length at checkout.
Q. how do i hardwire into my starlink router
A. The second generation Starlink Version (2) does not have an Ethernet port unfortunately and is Wifi only you may need to order the Ethernet adapter at checkout for approx £35, this will enable you to connect the starlink router to your network or PC ect.
Q. How long does a survey take?
A. Depending on your property and your requirements it usually takes between 1 to 2 hrs to fully survey your property and make a plan of how to proceed.
Q. How long does a starlink installation take?
A. Usually a starlink install takes approx 3 hrs, however if your property requires extra equipment or is more complex the total installation could take up-to 8 hrs. In a standard installation we have to drill one hole through the external wall which allows us to fit a cable from the external dish to the router. Once the router is powered up we assign a network name and password, the dish auto aligns itself and the system is a go!
